Recipes
Family cookbook with import, categories, tags and links to shopping list and calendar.
Under Recipes the family builds your cookbook: with photo, ingredients and instructions – grouped by categories and filterable by tags. Create new ones manually, from a website, via photo/camera or from social content.

Good to know
- Recipes are limited on Free (currently 5); with Pro unlimited.
- You manage categories and tags yourselves – easy to filter and find again.
- Website import often shows the source (e.g. on the card); you can adjust ingredients and steps before saving.
- From a recipe you can send ingredients to a shopping list (board) and put dates on the calendar.
- Kitchen (pantry/freezer) stays a separate Free area – Recipes is the cookbook beside it.
Overview & filters
The list groups recipes by category (e.g. mains, desserts). At the top you filter by category and tag (“All” shows everything).
Buttons next to + New manage Categories and Tags.
Creating & importing recipes
With + New you choose the path:
- Website – paste a URL, take over the recipe and edit
- Camera / photo – extract from image or scan
- Social – import matching links
- Manual – type title, ingredients and steps yourself
Servings, category and tags are set when saving. Optionally translate the import text (DE/EN/FR/IT).
Categories & tags
- Categories structure the overview (sections in the list).
- Tags (e.g. vegetarian) help with fine-tuning and appear on cards.
Both are extendable – the cookbook grows with your family.
Cooking day to day
In the recipe detail you find ingredients and instructions. Practical links:
- Send ingredients to a shopping list on the board (new list or extend an existing one)
- Add a recipe date on the calendar
That keeps the path from recipe to shopping and dinner short.
