Friends
Friends and parent contacts per child – for school, birthdays and short notes.
Under Friends you collect school and everyday contacts per child: friend’s name, optional parent contact, phone, birthday and notes. This is not a Famunio network – unlike Contacts.

Good to know
- Friends always belong to one child – switch children in the selector at the top.
- Entries are address-book notes in your family, not links to other Famunio accounts.
- To connect with other Famunio families, use Contacts (chats, Moments, …).
- On Free, friends are limited (currently 5 per child); with Pro unlimited.
Choosing a child & overview
Select the child in the bar. Friends appear as cards with the stored info – e.g. parent name, phone number and birthday.
With + New you add a friend.
What you can enter
- Name – required
- Parent / contact – e.g. mum or dad for pick-up
- Phone – callable from the entry
- Birthday – so nothing is missed
- Notes – free text, e.g. “likes football” or classmate
Not every field is required – often name and a phone number are enough.
Friends vs Contacts
- Friends – school/everyday contacts of one child (address book). No Famunio chat.
- Contacts – link Famunio users (family-wide or just for you). Then chats and Moments are possible.
Both modules complement each other: Friends for the schoolyard, Contacts for Famunio networking.
