Office
Documents, cards and Safe – Pro hub for paperwork and protected notes.
Office brings paperwork and secrets together: Documents, Cards, personal Safe and optional Family Safe. Nav label everywhere is “Office” – Pro only.
Good to know
- Office is Pro. PDFs and photos for documents/cards live in the family cloud (BYO) – not on Famunio servers.
- Tabs: Documents · Cards · Safe · and Family Safe when applicable (participants only).
- Docs/cards visibility: setting “Documents & cards visible to” – Everyone or Adults only (default). Nav “Office” stays visible for everyone.
- With “Adults only”, children don’t see docs/cards – but still their own Safe.
- The Safe stores text only (client-side encrypted), no media. Unlock with password/PIN and biometrics where possible – separate from the Famunio login.
Documents
Storage for invoices, receipts, warranties, tickets and similar – with search, categories and tags.
Typical actions:
- + New – choose a file, take a photo or scan (pages with auto crop)
- manage and filter Categories and Tags
- edit entries (pencil)
Files land in the connected cloud. Without a cloud connection there is no document upload.
Cards
Under Cards you collect IDs, membership cards and similar proofs – also as photo/PDF in the cloud, with types and overview.
Safe & Family Safe
The personal Safe is for sensitive notes (e.g. PINs, access details as text). Unlock before reading.
The Family Safe appears only if the owner set it up and you are a participant – shared password, separate from login. Reset uses the intended recovery (email OTP), not a recovery key shown in the UI.
Who sees what?
- Adults (Pro + cloud): documents and cards yes; own Safe yes; Family Safe only as participant.
- Child with “Adults only”: no docs/cards; own Safe yes; Family Safe only as participant.
- Child with “Everyone”: docs and cards yes; own Safe yes; Family Safe only as participant.
