Settings

Under Settings you steer the family centrally: school system, board colours, cloud, subscription and account. Many modules rely on these defaults.

Good to know

• Tabs: School · Board · Cloud · Subscription · Account.
• School and many family options apply to the whole family; saving applies the changes.
• Cloud and Subscription are typically controlled by the owner.
• Under Subscription you’ll also find Double Joy (referral programme).
• Office visibility and parent notices for contacts are under Account.

School

• School & grading – school country, canton/state; grading system follows the country. Optionally apply to all children.
• Subjects – adjust family subjects (by region)
• Calendar – e.g. show tests on the shared calendar

Afterwards timetable, tests and grades use the same defaults.

Board

Here the family sets colours for post types (task, discussion, shopping list, …) – visible on the board.

Cloud

Sub-tabs:

• Family cloud – owner connects OneDrive, Google Drive or kDrive
• Chat cloud – optional personal chat cloud
• Storage – chat storage limits and related options

Without family cloud there is no media in Moments, board, Office and chats. Details in the Cloud guide.

Subscription

Choose or change plan (Free / Pro), customer portal for payment methods. Double Joy tab: share your link; bonus after the referred family’s first real Pro payment.

Account

Sub-tabs include:

• Account – profile photo, language, password, passkeys; family rules like Documents & cards visible to and parent notice when a child links contacts
• Push – device notifications and areas (chats, board, …)
• Management – remove users, leave account, delete the whole family account (owner)
