Board
Ideas, tasks, decisions and lists – with comments for the whole family.
On the Board the family organises everyday life: ideas, tasks, decisions, lists and discussions – with comments for everyone. What starts here often reappears on the Dashboard and in Chats.
Good to know
- The board is the shared place for planning and getting things done – not a replacement for chats, but a complement.
- Posts have a type (task, discussion, shopping list, …) and are recognisable by colour and icon.
- Discussions also appear in chats (label BOARD).
- Filter and Archive keep the overview without losing older topics.
- Files on discussions need the family’s Pro + cloud; the board itself is usable on every plan.
Post types
With + New you pick the type that fits:
- Task – something to do, often with assignee and due date
- Discussion – conversation with selected people (or the whole family)
- Shopping list – shopping with product search
- Decision – vote and decide
- Reminder – something that shouldn’t get lost
- Idea – plan and brainstorm together
- List – packing list, checklist and similar checkbox lists
- Wishlist – wishes e.g. for a child or person
- Free post – plain text and optional link
When saving you can notify the family (or the participants for discussions).
Overview & filters
The board overview shows cards with title, type and author. At the top you filter e.g. by All, Important, tasks, lists, shopping lists, ideas, decisions, discussions, wishlists or reminders.
Archive shows shelved posts again. Archived items stay readable but can no longer be commented or voted on – until you restore them.
Detail, comments & actions
Tap a card for the detail view: type-specific content (checklists, poll, wishes, …) plus family comments.
On posts you can, depending on permissions:
- edit or delete
- mark as important
- archive or restore
That keeps the board current without losing history.
Discussions & chats
A discussion is a board post with chat character: you pick participants, write messages – and the conversation also sits in the Chats inbox.
You find the topic both as a board card and in the messenger overview.
Board & dashboard
Open tasks and active polls/decisions can appear on the dashboard. Some new posts can also be created from the dashboard under “Share something” – without opening the board first.
